Kathleen Anderson

I am privileged to be able to serve South Carolinians by spending the last 24 years of my career with Prisma Health. My previous roles with Prisma Health include financial analysis and budgeting as well as director of clinical systems. Today, I support Prisma Health through the role of director, IT Vendor Management Office (VMO). This role allows me to utilize my previous experiences and education to ensure that Prisma Health’s mission and values are supported through strong vendor partnerships. My role provides oversight to team members and processes ensuring that the highest quality goods, services, and support are procured and maintained at market competitive pricing. The VMO provides another level of support to current stakeholder relations by reviewing new quotes/vendor proposals, implementing regularly scheduled business reviews, and facilitation of vendor relations. In addition to Vendor Management, I have the responsibility for budgeting, forecasting and financial management within the IT organization.

I am excited to be working with SC HIMSS as the Sponsorship Chair.

Outside of work, I enjoy sporting events, growing orchids, hiking, and going to concerts.
