We are pleased to announce our SCHIMSS Fall event with the theme of MAKING AN IMPACT! Our collective healthcare organizations large and small have been working tirelessly to address public health and to continue innovating. At SCHIMSS we are committed to telling the stories of our colleagues and educating our members and partners on healthcare and healthcare IT. COVID-19 Protocols
Columbia Convention Center Policies:
GBAC Star Facility Accredited
- The gold standard for safe facilities
- Cleaning industry’s only outbreak preparation, response, and recovery accreditation.
- Only 10% of convention centers in North America have this accreditation.
- To qualify, the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center has implemented a rigorous set of cleaning and disinfecting protocols and procedures. They maintain strictly documented infection prevention practices to combat biohazards and prevent the spread of infectious diseases, including sterilization of high-touch surfaces.
- Masks required for all people over the age of 5, unless doing so aggravates a medical condition. Masks may be removed to eat/drink.
