Call for Nominations for the 2018-2019 South Carolina HIMSS Board

The South Carolina chapter is now accepting nominations for prospective candidates to serve on the 2018-2019 Board of Directors for the following positions:

  • President Elect
  • Secretary

Please review the Chapter Bylaws for the responsibilities and requirements of each elected board position. All candidates must be an active member of HIMSS and of the SC Chapter for at least one year to be eligible to serve.  If you are interested in running for one of the open positions, please submit the following by email to Robert LaPorte at [email protected] by 4/30/2017:

  • Candidate biography
  • One (1) paragraph detailing why you believe you are a good candidate to hold this position and the skills you bring to the board
  • Current contact information
  • Photo to be included on the ballot

All members of HIMSS in good standing are eligible to vote for the 2018-2019 Board of Directors.  The election will be conducted electronically using a third party
