As Vice President for Innovation and Transformation, Blix Rice provides leadership for population health management strategies in the Care Coordination Institute (CCI), part of the parent company of Greenville Health System and Palmetto Health. He serves as principal liaison with AVIA and its innovator network for rapid cycle development and testing of new ideas. Blix has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining CCI, he worked at Greenville Health System for 12 years in a variety of leadership roles. He spent nine years with Ernst & Young LLP and also served as State Controller for the South Carolina operations of US Oncology for three years where he had responsibility for all non-clinical operations. Blix holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Western Carolina University and an MBA from Vanderbilt University.
